Open Payments Database Notice

The federal Physician Payments Sunshine Act requires that detailed information about payment and other payments of value worth over ten dollars ($10) from manufacturers of drugs, medical devices, and biologics to physicians and teaching hospitals be made available to the public.

You may search the federal Open Payments database for information about payments that physicians and teaching hospitals have received from manufacturers of drugs, medical devices, and biologics. The database is maintained by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Where to find the database

The Open Payments database is available at openpaymentsdata.cms.gov. For information about the relationships between physicians and manufacturers, please visit that site.
